Voices of Casey is a vibrant group of singers from Casey and surrounds. At the initiative of 4 members of the Casey U3A Singers, Voices of Casey came to be in September, 2015 as a mixed community choir. The choir was proud to be invited to sing at the opening of Bunjil Place in October 2017.
We have performed at local venues, the Springvale Town Hall, Wilson’s Park, Dandenong RSL Anzac Day services, Melbourne CBD and hosted a 3 year Family Violence Program in Bunjil place.
OUR MUSIC DIRECTOR: Kerry Gerraty is a highly qualified musician and director, and she leads our choir in an extremely exciting program. Kerry said: ”I am thoroughly delighted to be Music Director of Voices of Casey having been Accompanist and Assistant MD for this wonderful group a few years ago. It is such a joy to be able to share my love of music and my sense of fun and I am very excited to nurture and grow the choir to its fullest, all while having a good sing!”
Being a non-auditioned group, we welcome all enthusiastic as well as seasoned singers, who enjoy a mix of a little classical, middle-of-the-road, old classics and pop. Concerts have a theme and our repertoire is tailored to the event.
